Document Description
Note: Review Per Lead The proposed project includes the relocation of an existing metals recycling facility, located at 2201 West Washington Street, to a new location at 1815 Navy Drive in Stockton. The site is zoned IG and contains approximately 185,000 s.f. of existing warehouses. Proposed activities include collection, redemption, sorting, dismantling and packaging of recyclable materials. Materials accepted will include ferrous material (heavy steel and light tin) and non-ferrous material (copper, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, etc.) Materials would originate from industrial account, small scrap metal dealers, and the general public. All materials will be sorted and packaged for shipment to other facilities. Entitlements being sought by the project applicant include approval of an Administrative Use Permit.
