- Document Description
- General Plan 2012 would guide growth and development in Woodside through 2035. It outlines a vision for the future of Woodside and reinforces the community's passionate desire to maintain and preserve its distinctive rural character, scenic vistas, and natural landscapes. General Plan 2012 would retain existing land uses in the Town, with only minor changes, and allowable development would be largely limited to low-density residential uses. General Plan 212 also includes goals, policies, and strategies which seek to minimize risks from identified natural and man-made hazards; conserve, protect, and enhance the open space system and natural resources in Woodside and the surrounding area; and reduce or control consumption of renewable and non-renewable resources in Woodside.
