Present Land Use
Along Waterford Avenue, the zoning is Residential Single Family on the east side of the road and Rural Residential on the west side of the Road. Parcels within the Mammoth Creek corridor are zoned Rural Residential and Resort; the entire creek corridor is also overlain by the Open Space Stream Corridor zoning designation. The General Plan land use designation for the residential uses along Waterford Avenue is Low Density Residential. Parcels within the Mammoth Creek corridor are zoned Resort and Open Space.
Document Description
A new segment of the Main Path envisioned in the Town's adopted Trails System Plan and General Bikeway Plan. The new trail segment would close an existing gap in the Main Path from Old Mammoth Road along Waterford Avenue to a segment of the existing Main Path north of Mammoth Creek near North Waterford Avenue. The new trail segment would require construction of two bridge crossings over Mammoth Creek at the northern terminus of Waterford Avenue. The proposed paved multi-use path would support pedestrian and bicycle use and could be groomed during winter conditions for cross-country skiing use.
