Document Description
The Merced County has received an application for a major modification (No. MM11-018) to Gallo's existing CUP2714 for expansion of the existing Gallo Livingston Winery. The proposed project would increase its production capacity to 628,000 tons per year from their existing 538,000 tons per year. The project would include development of the majority of the 33-acre project site location adjacent to the existing production facility on Gallo property. The project is proposed to be constructed in three phases and includes approximately 70 new fermentation tanks, 123 new wine storage tanks, 10,000 s.f. filtration building, 45,000 sf bottle-ready processing facility, and an approximate 15,000 s.f. administration building.
