Document Description
The City of Palm Springs proposes to replace the existing low-water crossing on South Palm Canyon Drive at Arenas Canyon South with a four-lane bridge structure to provide all-weather access. Currently, access is disrupted on South Palm Canyon Drive during storm events due to flooding. Storm runoff would be directed through the new structure and the existing Arenas Canyon South tributary would be excavated and channelized. Levees will be constructed along the new channelized alignment of the Arenas Canyon South tributary from South Palm Canyon Drive to the west.
