This project includes the installation of three groundwater well to supplement existing district surface and groundwater supplies. The well would be constructed on lands currently used for agriculture within the RD 108 service area. The well would be operated 24 hours a day during the months of April through October in dry and critically dry water years. Preliminary information obtained from the local aquifer indicates that the well would likely have a capacity between 1,500 and 3,000 gallons per minute, require 150 horsepower pump motor and have a pumping level of approximately 120 feet below ground surface.
