Document Description
The project includes modifications to increase the capacity of the District's Groundwater Recovery Facility (GRF) and construction and operation of three new groundwater wells, one to be constructed immediately and two others in the future, and water pipelines connecting the wells to the GRF. The new wells would provide backup for the existing well and for additional diversion of brackish groundwater under existing water rights permits. Modification to the GRF would include installation of additional reverse osmosis (R0) units in the GRF building to bring its total capacity to 3194 AFY of brackish groundwater, yielding approximately 2,552 AFY of potable water.
