Document Description
The proposed project would consists of construction of interior and exterior research support space, including three prefabricated metal buildings totaling approximately 24,500 gross s.f. The three prefabricated buildings include Building A (9800 GSF), Building B (8500 GSF) and Building C (6,200 GSF). These buildings would replace a number of existing dilapidated storage structures within the canyon and provide additional upgraded research support space for the SIO campus. Several existing buildings would remain on-site. The concrete paving surrounding the new structures would provide additional staging and testing space for the research equipment. Existing utilities within the footprint of the project site would be realigned to better serve the layout of the new buildings.
