Document Description
The proposed project consists of the replacement of a structurally deficient bridge over China Creek at the intersection of Road 425B and Road 426 in the town of Oakhurst, CA. The project will be completed in two phases to allow traffic access throughout the project. The first phase will include construction of a portion (about 28 feet in width) of the new bridge while the existing bridge remains operational. Once this portion of the new bridge has been completed, both directions of traffic will be redirected to the completed portion. During the second phase, the existing bridge will be removed and the remaining portion of the new bridge will be constructed. One land of traffic traveling south on Road 426, north of the intersection with 425B, will remain closed during construction.
