Document Description
The proposed project would seek to make several renovations throughout the Lakewood Golf Course, encompassed seven primary elements: 1) demolish the existing auxiliary building and construct a new auxiliary building; 2) demolish the existing cart barn and construct a new cart barn; 3) construct a new junior putting green on a vacant area adjacent to the new cart barn and tennis courts, remove 2 of the existing tennis courts and 9 parking stalls to accommodate the new putting green, and resurface the remaining 12 tennis courts; 4) replace 16 substandard-size driving range hitting stations with 20 new, standard-size stations, and raise the height of netting at the driving range; 5) install 18 orange tee areas within the main golf course for junior players; 6) remove 46 trees, including 39 pine and 7 eucalyptus; 7) remove an abandoned water pump and two abandoned overhead utility lines to accommodate new practice green.
