Note: Reference SCH# 2012011019 Note: Revised The applicant, McCoy Solar, LLC has requested a conditional use permit (No. 3682) and public use permit (No. 911) from Riverside County to construct, operate, maintain, and decommission an up to 750 MW photovoltaic solar facility and necessary ancillary facilities including a generation tie line, access road and switch yard with the precise generation capacity or megawatts dependent on the technology selected and efficiencies available at the time of a ROW authorization. The applicant also has proposed to enter into a Development Agreement with Riverside County for the project. The portion of the project under the land use authority of Riverside County would be on 477 acres of private land, while the majority of the project is proposed to be located on approximately 4,096 acres of federally administered public land.
