Document Description
The Vista Unified School District has voted to close Crestview Elementary School and transferred its students to five other schools in the District (Beaumont, Breeze Hill, Hannalei, Lake, and Monte Vista Elementary Schools) base on their area of residence. The five receiving schools have a combined student enrollment capacity of 4.148 students and the combined current enrolment of 3,188 students in grades K through 5. As shown in below table, new enrollments at the receiving schools would not exceed the existing capacities except for Lake Elementary School, which would be exceeded by seven students. No expansion of the school was required at any of the five receiving schools to accommodate the transferred students.
