Document Description
Repair water damage and moisture seal two south wall exibit rooms at Sutter's Fort State Historic Park to prevent further water damage and destruction of the adobe walls before the rainy season starts. Work will remove existing pieces of floor; manually excavate up to 4" of soil to install crushed rock for a French drain; a vapor barrier; concrete sub-floor, pressure-treated sleepers and rough rock sawn wooden plank floor. Additional work will remove lead-based paint from the walls and cover with adobe compatible paint; remove the false ceiling to expose the original roof, and upgrde the electrical system to current health and safety code.
