Document Description
The Project consists of dewatering the Balsam Forebay to remove accumulated sediment at the intake, gate 4, of the Eastwood Power Station. During dewatering, leakage from tunnel 7, coming from Huntington Lake, will be pumped into Balsam Creek to maintain the minimum creek in-stream flow. Following dewatering, approximately 2,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediment will be mechanically removed from Balsam Forebay and stored on Southern California Edison owned land for future use in re-forestation projects.
