Document Description
Conduct of a wildland training burn in a small area of grassland. The training burn will be conducted for the benefit of local volunteer firefights. The property owner has a CA Forest Improvement Program management plan for his property. An improvement in native grasses in this area of diminishing prairies is an effect desired by the landowner. The proposed training burn will use existing roads and hand constructed control lines to burn less than 5 acres. The project is in rural Humboldt County, greater than two miles south of Dinsmore, CA.
