Document Description
The project is limited to a total of three dredging events over 5 years. The dredging shall occur at Delta Yacht Club at Tule Island. The area to be dredged is 120 feet wide by 450 feet long (54,000 s.f.). Approximately 12,000 to 20,000 cubic yards of material per dredge event shall be dredge from the harbor and placed on 3 acres (130,680 s.f.) of land on Tule Island, immediately adjacent to the area being dredged. The harbor shall be dredged to a maximum depth of 13 feet MLLW (the harbor is currently 6 feet deep) using a barge-mounted hydraulic dredge with a spinning, toothed cutter head. Dredge spoils shall be transported by pipeline no greater than 16 inches in diameter to the dredge spoils placement site. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2011-0253-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
