Document Description
The Coastal Conservancy granted funds to the Coastside Land Trust to assist in its acquisition of the 50-acre coastal portion of the Wavecrest property. Funds also were granted to the land Trust to enable it to plan and design the California Coastal Trail through the property, and to produce a conceptual design for extending the Coastal Trail south to Redondo Beach. The purposes of the acquisition include establishing a park and preserving open space and existing natural conditions, including habitat.
