The project includes the construction of an 18,000 sq. ft. poultry shelter to raise broiler chickens. The facility will provide the ability to conduct nutritional, genetic, vaccine, environmental and animal welfare trials. It will also provide opportunities for collaborative research and teaching between Fresno State students, Foster Farms, and the poultry industry as a whole.
