Document Description
The geotechnical investigation program for the North Bay Aqueduct Alternate Intake Project will consist of approximately 55 exploration locations that will include drilling boreholes, performing cone penetration tests (CPT), and digging shallow test pits in soils. Measurements will be takent of soil load-bearing capacity, physical properties of the sediments, location of the groundwater table, and other typical geologic and and geotechnical parameters.
