Document Description
The project is a geotechnical study that includes boring two five-inch holes into the streambed. Equipment used includes a truck-mounted rotary wash drilling rig with approximately 80 feet. A steel casing stores and recycles the drilling fluid. The gaps between the casing and tub and the tub/cored hole will be sealed to prevent and leakage. After completion of drilling, bore holes will be plugged with either betonies chips or cement slurry. Drilling fluids and soil cutting will be pumped into 55-gallon drums and hauled offsite. Water is not expected to be present during the work. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0279-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
