Document Description
The project is limited to replacement of an existing 2 inch diameter water intake line on the lake bottom of Lake Tahoe with a new 6 inch diameter intake pipe to accommodate use for emergency fire suppression in addition to current water use for landscape irrigation. Two new pumps will be installed as well to replace the current small irrigation pump. The new pipe is self anchoring to the lake bottom. The only excavation work will be to remove the current 2 inch pipe and to lay the portion of the new 6 inch above the lake water level.
