Document Description
Project proposes critical selective interior and exterior upgrades to the (9-story, 560-bed) University Towers residence hall, interior work will renovate University Tower' 1st floor public spaces along with complete interior renovation of the existing 8,000 sf Food Service Facility. Exterior work will improve landscape along the building entries, existing single-pane windows will be replaced with energy efficient units, existing roof will be replaced and building repainted.

Project will not bear significant impacts to the environment because: (i) project will only affect interiors of the 1st floor/Food Service facility, (ii) exterior building improvements are limited to existing building to improve overall energy efficiency, (iii) landscape improvements replace existing hardscape, (iv) the site does not have special-status species/habitat and biological resources will not be affected, and (v) landscape architects will icorporate erosion contrl measures to minimize efects on water quality.
