Document Description
The RAW proposed a remedy for excavation and off-site removal of 55 cubic yards or approximately 4 truckloads of soil contaminated with excessive levels of lead, total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as diesel, and TPH as oil. Some preliminary remediation work, such as using a vacuum truck to remove loose soil, will begin during the 30-day public comment period. Excavation and transporting the waste to a permitted facility will start after the 30-day comment period and DTSC approves the RAW.
