The project involves enhancement improvements to an area that transitions from a trail/bikeway urban area into a recreational/park area. Enhancements will include drought tolerant trees such as mesquite trees, native vegetation, lighting and erosion control measures adjacent to the Alamo River. The purpose of the project area is to restore, protect and enhance the project area and create an environment where wildlife can thrive and people can enjoy high quality outdoor recreation.
