For the 502.000 cubic yards of short-term dredging, section 15269 statutorily exempts projects to maintain, repair, demolish, or replace property of faclilities damaged or destroyed as a result of a disester in a disester stricken area, emergency repairs to publicly owned facilities and to take actions necessary to mitigate the effects of the emergency.
