Document Description
Install a 12 inch ductile iron waterline bypass of the existing lower Elk Springs intake structure. The new bypass would allow water from the Upper Elk Springs water line to bypass the Lower Elk Springs intake structure and enter directly into the main Elk Springs waterline for the District. The bypass will ensure that the currently unsanitary conditions of the unsealed Lower Elk Springs springhouse cannot contaminate the District's water supply. As part of the project, security fencing will also be installed around the Lower Elk Springs building.
