Document Description
Upgrade +/- 14 cabins and 1 restroom/shower building in the Little Basin Property area of Big Basin Redwoods State Park to provide a year round camping experience for park visitors. Mechanically excavate 6 trenches approximately 175 ft long, 3 ft deep and 1 ft. wide to install underground electrical power lines. All trenching will be done within the footprint of existing road alignments and within developed areas of the cabin and campground area of Little Basin. Replace 36 screen windows with new dual pane windows; add insulation and electrical and heating systems to the existing 14 cabins and 1 restroom / shower structure. No trees and minimal vegetation will be cut or disturbed.
