Document Description
A recently installed box culvert that carries water across and below Santiago Road has a discharge point immediately downstream of the pipeline right-of-way, which is causing a headcutting. As a result, erosion has eroded the upper portion of Line 6900, and lines 1028 and 1027 have shallow earthen cover. The exposure and shallow cover make pipelines susceptible to damage from vandalism, debris flowing down the channel, and/or an inadvertent strike from a vehicle traveling off the road. The project will reestablish the cover over the lines and protect them from damage.
