Document Description
The bank of the creek will be stabilized around an existing approximate 20-foot culvert that was undermined by an approximate 10-foot round by 10-foot deep sink hole created during the winter 2011. The bottom of the sinkhole will be accessed through the culvert from which the remaining loose substrate will be removed. The hole will be lined with heavy duty filter cloth and filled with clean 6-inch rock rip-rap. Work will be completed during the low flow period, and the remaining water diverted around the sinkhole site. No vegetation will be affected, damaged, or removed.
