Document Description
The CA DFW is executing Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2012-0223-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Sacramento County Department of Transportation. The project is limited to the replacement of an existing 2-lane bridge with a new 2-lane capacity concrete slab bridge on a raised profile to clear the 100-year storm event over Laguna Creek. The project includes a raised landscaped median, bike lanes, curbs, sidewalks, a pedestrian path, driveway conforms, a landscape buffer, drainage modifications, utility relocations, street lights, and relocation of a mid-block pedestrian/equestrian crossing and traffic signal. The existing bridge is functionally obsolete and is hydraulically deficient in that it cannot pass a 100-year storm event.
