The proposed project consists of replacing an existing 2-lane bridge over Laguna Creek with a 2-lane capacity concrete slab bridge on a raised profile that will clear the 50-year high water level with 2-foot freeboard (higher than 100-year) high water levels in Laguna Creek. The project includes a raised landscaped median, bike lanes, curbs, sidewalks ramps, a pedestrian path, a shared equestrian/pedestrian/bicycle path, relocation of the equestrian staging area entrance, driveway conforms, a landscape buffer, drainage modifications, utility relocations, street lights, and relocation of a mid block pedestrian/equestrian crossing traffic signal.
