SCE currently owns a 48 percent share of generating Units 4 and 5 at the Four Corners Generating Station, SCE has submitted an application to the CPUC to sell its interest in these two units to APS. SCE is seeking this sale in order to come into compliance with the greenhouse gas emissions performance standards required by the State of CA for all public utility companies operating in CA. No physical changes to the Four Corners Generating Station are proposed as part of this project.
