The proposed project would include a 147,730 s.f. priory building designed to accommodate approximately 75 permanent resident Sisters and up to 35 visitors. The facilities would also include individual cells (bedrooms), classrooms, libraries, community rooms, a chapel, an indoor gymnasium, and soccer and kickball fields. The proposed project would also include a 55-foot high bell tower, which requires a variance as it exceeds Town height restrictions. Development of the project site would require removal of 222 of the 697 oak trees on the project site. The entrance to the project site from Barton Road would be controlled by a security gate. A wrought-iron fence would surround the project side along Barton Road and Rocklin Road.
