The proposed Project includes constructing road improvements at the intersection of Sacramento Blvd, Walnut Grove Road, North Thornton Road, and Oak Street and the intersection of Stockton Street and Mokelumne Avenue at North Thornton Road. Additional improvements planned for the segment of North Thornton Road between the two intersections include sidewalks, curb, gutters, storm drain modifications, bike routes, and the reconfiguration of parking along north Thornton Road.
