Document Description
The project proposes to use AVEK's surplus State Water Project water as an alternate source for farming operations within AVEK's WSSP sites in lie of farmers in these areas using groundwater for farming operations. As a result, AVEK will bank this surplus water at the WASSP sites without having to go through the recharge process. Recovery of water will be governed by in Lieu Banking Agreements, supervised by the State Water Contractors Association, and shall not be contrary to any judments ultimately rendered for the AV Groundwater Basin.
