Document Description
Santa Maria Pacific, LLC (SMP) is requesting approval of an Oil Drilling Production Plan. The SMP project includes a total of 136 production wells, three steam generators, connecting pipelines, oil treating facilities and related ancillary equipment. The SMP Project proposes to explore, test and produce oil on ~32 acres in an existing State designated oil and gas field known as the Orcutt Oil Field, within the Diatomite formation, an oil bearing geologic structure. The SMP project plans to use a secondary enhanced recovery technique, known as cyclic steaming, to produce oil from the Diatomite formation.
