Document Description
Major Modification to CUP 91-27 to allow expansion of the existing 53-acre CR&R Perris MRF to include the first phase of a Green Energy Plant with one anaerobic digester and supporting equipment (tank farm). Methane produced by the anaerobic digestion process would be refined into Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). The project would convert up to 150 tons per day of processed organic municipal waste into biogas for use by CR&R trucks. The operations area includes a .26 acre biofilter and a 4.4 acre parking lot conversion to a RNG fueling facility. An associated 39,000 sf enclosed materials handling building was previously approved.
