Document Description
NOTE: Extended The DFG is approving a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement for the Shaver Lake Dam Liner Project. In recent years Southern CA Edison Company (SCE) has noticed increased water seepage through Shaver Dam. In order to reduce seepage and protect the upstream face of the dam from the elements, SCE is applying a PVC geomembrane liner. The liner should protect the upstream face of the dam from weathering and reduce the seepage, thus extended the life of the dam. Attaching the liner to the dam will require a drawdown of the lake lever to Shaver Lake.
