Document Description
NextEra Energy Blue Sky, LLC proposes to develop up to 225 megawatt (MW) of wind energy using up to 90 wind turbine generators (WTGs) on approximately 7,500 acres of private land in northeastern Los Angeles County. In addition to the WTGs, the proposed project includes: ingress/egress to the proposed project site; temporary construction staging and laydown areas to support WTG component staging, office trailers, a portable concrete batch plant; and equipment marshaling; an operation and maintenance (O&M) facility; two collector substations and underground and overhead electrical collection lines; a generation interconnection (gen-tie) line to the existing Antelope Substation; and rezoning of portions of the site from Light Agriculture (A-1) to Heavy Agriculture (A-2).
