Document Description
The City of Newport Beach is requesting a permanent drainage easement. This easement is for the purposes of maintaining a drainage line in, over and across a portion of Corona Del Mar State Beach after completing the Buck Gully Erosion Control Project. The Project shall provide the necessary flood protection and streambed stabilization required to reduce the potential of slope failure along the Buck Gully canyon (SCH No. 2010101060). The project shall reduce water pollution and downstream impacts thus enhancing marine water quality and aid in the removal and replacement of non-native invasive plant species with water efficient natives. The permanent drainage easement is needed for the ongoing operating, maintenance and repair of the project improvements.
