Document Description
The Project includes the replacement of an existing 100-foot concrete open channel to a 90-foot closed concrete culvert with wingwalls at the inlet and outlet. The existing concrete will be demolished and removed with an excavator at the top of bank. The new culvert will be approximately 14 feet wide at the base tapering to 13 feet at the upper deck and is sized to meet the 100-year flood flow. Atherton channel is expected to be dry during construction. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0260-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
