Document Description
An environmental analysis must be completed in order to establish a motorized trail as part of the National Forest Transportation System. Currently "007" is a popular non-designated route accessing a diverse and connected system of roads, motorized trails, viewing areas and campgrounds. This project would develop an environmental analysis of the "007" Route in order to determine whether to designate it as a trail. The project would fund resource specialists to provide information to the District Ranger. The product would be a document that would describe the purpose and need for the "007" route, impacts to cultural and natural resources, and the District Ranger's decision.
