Document Description
The project includes visiting all 72 Tier 2 unauthorized routes to determine exactly what site-specific mitigations need to be implemented before they are added to the National Forest Transportation System and how much this work would cost. The information would be used to apply for an 2012 OHMVR Ground Operations Mitigation Implementation Grant. The project also includes visiting and collecting data on all 50 routes that require baseline hydrological or soil monitoring data to determine if further mitigations are required. The data would be analyzed and any additional needed mitigation would be planned. The proposed activities are those required for planning activities. There would be no effect on the physical environment from the planning activities.
