Document Description
Work consists of fencing, installation of a new pipeline and two troughts to improve water quality by reducing mercury laden sediments from entering Walker Creek. Approximately 1 mile of fence will be installed to exclude livestock from Walker Creek. An existing upland spring development will be renovated, and water will be conveyed to two water troughs to provide alternative water for livestock. Willow poles will be planted within the fenced riparian area to prevent further streambank erocion. Non native, invasive plant species will be removed along fence lines.
