- The project would permanently close to OHV use a historic water reservoir and canal system resource originally constructed to service the Manzanar Japanese Internment Camp in the mid 1940s during WWII. The project deliverables are fencing or barricading up to 10 acres of surface area that houses the structures, providing Park Ranger patrols, educational and regulatory signs, and returning OHV damaged vegetation to a natural state.
