(2) A closure recommentation for each portal that accommodates seasonal uses by BLM sensitive bat species and maintains the mine's historic resources. (3) Effectiveness monitoring of 48 AML sites that have bat-compatibale closures installed to ensure that people are effectively excluded from mines and bats are occupying the habitat. (4) A report of biological findings and closure recommendations for the BLM. THe BLM would share the findings with Bat Conservation International, the California Department of Conservation, and the OHMVR Division.
