Document Description
The Project consists of encasing the existing gabion bridge abutments and wing walls of two (2) bridges in concrete with shotcrete treatment to prevent further erosion of the materials from the retaining walls and rusting of the rail road piles. The work will take place under the existing deck structure of the bridge. The thickness of the concrete will be approximately 6-inches. The shotcrete will be installed by a concrete pump truck from the road above the bridge using an extended hose. There will be no excavation in the streambed.
