Document Description
This project is for levee erosion repair on the left bank of the Sacramento River at RM 53.6, approximately 3.5 miles south of Sacramento, along Riverside Boulevard. The site consists of two 200-foot long, three foot high scarps and an adjacent 45 foot long, four foot high scarp that will be repaired. The area will be repaired to its previous slope of 1.3:1 and 1.4:1 by replacing approximately 1,350 cubic yards of soil filled angular rock on the eroded sites. Work will occur between August 16 and October 30 and will take approximately 10 working days to complete.
