Document Description
The project proposes sediment removal within ponds to return the ponds to the design grade (approximate depth of 5 foot). The goal of removing the sediment in these ponds to return lost flood capacity to the ponds and to eliminate odors emanating from algal blooms as a result of the shallow pond depths and excess nutrient input. No existing vegetation would be removed as part of the excavation activities.
