Document Description
Portions of existing sidewalks and driveways will be replaced. Crosswalks and bicycle lanes would be installed on State Route 1 where it passes through the City of Point Arena. Crosswalk work will include removal of two existing crosswalks and bringing curb ramps up to current American With Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Removal and relocation of double yellow striping and placement of thermoplastic traffic stripes for demarcation of bicycle lanes will also be included. All work will be performed in the roadway prism which is in the existing Caltrans right-of-way.

This project does not damage a scenic resource within an officially designated state scenic highway. This project is not located on a site included on any list compiled pursuant to Govt. Code S 65962.5. This project does not cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a historical resource.
